Police Work
Do you actually think that the FBI solves the local mysteries? No. The police do. They do all of the dirty work, to make life easier for you. They actually do a lot. A lot of work. There mission is to protect the public, and to serve the public. A lot of accounts are described in “Cops”, by Mark Baker, you can see the things that they do, do. The media rarely describes what they actually do.
To protect. You get robbed sometime in the night. You don’t call the FBI. No. You call 911, or the police. They protect us in so many ways. If someone is dealing, that person is ultimately putting someone else at risk. If the police can stop them, they can save a bunch of people’s lives. But really, only about 30% of what cops due is actually helping a “person”. They deal with the idiots that steal from Wal-Mart. The people, who do, deal drugs. The idiots that think it is fun to tp someone’s house. So, where is all of the glory? Well, just imagine if there were no “Police”. Now, walmart is out of supplies. Someone has to clean their house off, knowing that the tp-ers will get away from it. That’s why the are there. To serve us. To give us justice. To help everone.
So, next time you see a police car, just think: they are helping someone. They are serving justice.
